Elisha A. Peconi is a tax attorney with The Waage Law Firm, A Professional Corporation.
Ms. Peconi graduated cum laude from Boston College in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in History. She received a National Merit Corporate Scholarship from PPG Industries, as well as a competitive grant funded by Lilly Pharmaceuticals, and was on the Dean’s List every semester. While at Boston College, she spent two years volunteering for the Archdiocese of Boston.
Upon graduation from Boston College, Ms. Peconi accepted a Dean’s Merit Scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Peconi clerked for two different local firms, gaining experience in insurance litigation, as well as class action law suits. She also volunteered in both Pittsburgh and San Diego for legal assistance organizations specializing in immigration law. Her coursework exposed her to a wide variety of legal fields, including international law, immigration law, estates and trusts, business organizations and federal income taxation.
During her second year of law school, she studied abroad at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand. The study abroad program focused on international and comparative law, and while abroad, she also studied anti-trust and environmental law.
Ms. Peconi graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2006 and thereafter relocated to San Diego. She passed the California Bar Exam and is licensed to practice law in California, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
At The Waage Law Firm, APC Ms. Peconi has assisted business owners, real estate owners and high net worth individuals with their legal and tax affairs. Ms. Peconi has experience with estates and trusts, corporations, partnerships and a variety of planning strategies.
